The In-Between Space
For the tender stretch between no longer and not yet. Somewhere to land, together.
No longer where you were. Not yet where you're going.
The in-between is raw, foggy, and complicated. It's that space between places, between chapters, between who you were and who you're becoming. It's that space that leaves you with few words to describe it, yet fills you with fears, doubts, and uncertainties. It's that space that makes you feel vulnerable and lonely. It's that space that cracks you open.
That's exactly where we gather.
I created The In-Between Space as a free online room to write, reflect, and steady ourselves side by side. Away from the algorithms and all the external noise. A place to be witnessed exactly as you are, take only what you need, and remember you're not the only one standing in this season.
The shape of our hour
We arrive: a short mindful practice to ground and settle.
We write: a few gentle prompts, then quiet time on the page.
We share: only what wants to be spoken, only if you'd like to. Your writing stays yours.
One hour, once a month, on Zoom. Cameras optional. Pyjamas welcome.
We begin Thursday 17 September, 7–8pm (BST), and gather on the third Thursday of each month.
YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE IN THE IN-BETWEEN
YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE IN THE IN-BETWEEN
My own in-between
Ciao, I'm Daniela (she/her) and I made this because I was looking for it. Or better yet: I always wanted to create it, but never quite put it into motion. That's one of the many things that surface when you linger in the in-between too long. Your mind plays tricks on you, and you start second-guessing yourself.
Coming home to London after years away, caught between starting afresh and finding my feet, I felt the need to belong again. To reclaim myself and my time, not in a complicated way, or one that asks too much of me, but gently, easily.
Somewhere to sit with the in-between without having to explain it, next to people who simply get it. I couldn't find it, so I'm building it.
As a trauma-informed hypnotherapist and mindfulness teacher, I know how much lighter change feels when it's witnessed rather than carried alone. The In-Between Space is that room and I'd love you in it.
